Lions always sleep and spend as much as 20 hours a day sleeping. They are also the truly sociable cats. Related females will likely give each other help and tend to reproduce in synchrony, and cross-suckle their offspring. They have no set breeding season. This pride contains cubs of different age and this phenomenon is not very unusual.
